SEMC is one of the few China National Accreditation Committee for Laboratories (CNACL) accredited organizations in China. On December the 3rd of 1999, at the ’99 General Assembly of the Asia Pacific Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (APLAC) held in New Delhi India, China National Accreditation Committee for Laboratories (CNACL) signed the APLAC-MRA. At this meeting CNACL was also elected into the APLAC Board of Management. The signing of the APLAC-MRA means that the calibration certificates and testing reports issued by the CNACL accredited laboratories will gain the recognition of the other signatories of the APLAC-MRA (See attachment).
As a result of our CNACL certification, SEMC maintains reciprocal accreditation in USA, Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, New Zealand and Australia.


CMA Certification
Since 1994, SEMC has retained certification of China Metrological Accreditation (CMA) administered jointly by China National Quality & Technology Supervision Bureau and National Environmental Protection Bureau.

Before CNACL certification, CMA was the only nationally recognized certification for laboratories in China, and it is still the most popular certification accepted by Chinese governmental authorities.
